Morning Intentions - Gentle Yoga & Daily Intentions

This beginner series is perfect for those who want a more personalized yoga experience without the price tag of a private yoga session.  Before joining the series, you will meet with your yoga instructor for a private one-on-one session where you get to share all the wonderful things that make you who you are!   We will discuss any aches and pains or any injuries you have as well as any fears or concerns you have about yoga.  Our goal is to get to know who you are and create an experience that is meaningful to you while welcoming you into a warm and caring community of women.

Weekdays, start each day with the Oya women community in a positive way by checking in with yourself and setting your personal daily intentions.  Enjoy a gentle, soft flow session of yoga, daily focus on breathwork and a weekly special session of guided meditation.  

Power Vinyasa

The vinyasa is the fullest extent of a vigorous and dynamic moving meditation. When linking breath with movement, the practice becomes dancelike— an interplay of motion and stillness. Strength, flexibility, balance and cardio come into harmony. Described as “an awakening;” the only way to truly understand it is to do it.


 

Chill / Write / Flow

We move to feel, we feel to heal. Like yoga, writing is healing and has many positive health benefits. This is a writing class and a yoga class, so bring a journal and pen.  You'll move, meditate, breathe, and write from the inside-out. Writing is another way of seeing ourselves, much like the mirror of our yoga mat, through exploration and expression. Expect to leave feeling connected, supported, and inspired.

 

Evening Reflections

End each day in a loving and appreciative way, by coming back to your morning intentions and reflecting on how your day went. What worked and what did not? We close the day with gentle movement, meditation and breathwork.
